How It All Began at Line Camp
How it all began…well, every so often we would get a hankering for a good steak and would drive halfway across the state to get it. Over time, we decided it was easier to just try cooking for ourselves. A few steaks later, and many good meals later, we finally got it! And with food this good, we knew we had to share it with others.
One year we entered the Texas Steak Cookoff in Hico, TX. If we placed in the top three, we figured we might as well…open a steakhouse. Turns out we got second, and we were very excited! So, one night over a bottle of “Crown,” building plans were drawn up on a napkin. An old barn in Godley, TX and an old house here in Tolar were torn down and transformed into today’s building.
What started as a vision shared by friends just sitting around talking, is now a reality. We followed through with our promise to each other, and you can find us here—at the Line Camp.
Come live the dream with us at Line Camp!
